The Chancellor Complex
anyway, I checked in to the hostel with another malay girl. I really forgot her name tho' I ask her name twice. I've no idea why I can't rmb cos I'm always good at rmbering ppl's name. so after resting for some time. We get down and go to the Chansellor Hall. If u think u can walk within the uni, ure soo wrong. Cos u'll be tired out by the roadside and call for help in the end. lol you really need to drive within the uni cos tho' it seems near but still its too far to walk. We have a briefing about UTP and the Educamp and bla bla until lunch.

This is village 5. Nice right. But I don't stay here.
I stayed at village 2. Not really dat nice tho'.
My tag
The IRC from the outside. further down is all the studies buildings.
dint take any photos from there.
There's 4 levels I think. It's really cool to go up there. aha
Another side of the library. love the lightings. =D

A view from above.
Guess wat. after getting ourselves to the library, we just realized dat the next session which is the Profiling session is in the main hall. And the main hall is at the other end from the chancellor hall. being first time, we three did not noe dat we can take a bus there. so, we walked all the way to the main hall. The situation is just like walking hours in the desert with ur baju kurung and high heels. how ridiculous. we're almost late but we made it there. lol The profiling session is just some surveys or u call it a simple quiz? to see what's ur work preference and all.
Later, we got a campus tour. We broke into groups and tour around the campus. It was tiring cos again we're walking end to end even within the classes. There's different buildings for different courses like business Information System (BIS) has its own building and engineering has its own. The facilities are really good and up-to-date I think. They have this technology for games. Like you wear a glove and a special glasses and u can play the 3D game or something like dat. Dat was so cool. Like dat one you see in Spy Kid. We got to see all those engineering machines and electrical machines as well. There's too much to describe but the one word I'll say is AMAZING.

The green park.
The next day was the BIG day which is the Interview day but they called it Assessment and tests day. I got the first session which is at 8am. I got up at 6am and freeze myself in the shower. seriously cold like pouring ices onto ur body. shiver like mad. den went down for breakfast. I have to say my NS camp serves me better food. aha. no offence. but true. After dat, get on the bus and head to Block B. First, we were put in this 'Holding Room'. After dat, we're adjourned to the 'Waiting Room' to wait for the time. Then, when it's time, we're called to go to the 'Preparation Room' (so many rooms. some seems useless to me) where we all sit in our own panel. Each panel consist of 5 person. And I'm in Panel 8 (good number eh?) Then, we're given 30 mins (but ended up 20mins. I've no idea why.) to do our case study. each one of us were given a paper with different content. so we wont be able to discuss. It was about Sports Policy. sounds hard rite. At first, I was blank but later I cant stop writing all my ideas. Thank God so much dat he guided me with dat.
the morning view of the mosque. So misty in the morning.
Next, we're all shifting to another room where we sit according to our turns. oh well, we can continue preparing for our case study actually but cannot talk at ALL. waited for about one hour before the interview started. then, the room was tensed up. Ppl going to toilet and all. ahah There's 25 panel if I'm not mistaken. All the panel starts the interview together. First was the individual interview and I'm the 5th person to be interviewed in my panel. My panel was the slowest so our group interview ended the last for session A. I think.
I really want to thank God for everything. He really provided for me. I wasn't nervous at all and I was really calm when I went in for my individual interview. Thank God also becos I got two good interviewers. A man and a woman. The man was from UTP while the woman was working with Petronas at KLCC. They both are really nice especially the man. He brief me on UTP and told me what I have to do and say. So, first I intro myself, my family, my school achievement, my future plan and what I can do for Petronas next time. They scribble a lot on the paper. no idea wat. They were friendly and it make me feel all relaxed.
the sunrise. still very misty.
(this shows how early I reached there. -.-)
Then, the group interview. All 5 of us have to discuss about our case study. It was rather a relaxing one as well. I was glad Hayati was in the same panel as me. Becos the night before, she came over to my room and we include my roomate discussed and talk about stuff. So, it was easy for us when we're in the interview room. We talk and talk while the interviewers evaluate us until there's one moment when every1 went out of idea wat to talk and it was super silent. It was awkward but some1 crap something out and the discussion continues again until the interviewer told us to conclude everything.
Well, it was a total relief after the interview. In the afternoon, we have 2 tests to take in the main hall. It was like the normal exam and it reminds me of SPM again. (just dat it was in a big hall with 200 students in it) First, the English Proficiency Test (EPT). It was okay. If you know english well den it wasn't a big problem. It was something like EST also. There'll be passages to read and some ques to answer. But the only concern is the ques and answers are rather tricky. Hopefully I did well.
Next, was the Critical Reasoning Test (CRT). divided into 2 parts. First part, there'll be short passages and 4 or 5 ques. You just gotta answer True, False, or Cannot Say. this really challenge me a lot. There's 60 ques to answer in 30 mins. Not much time to read properly and think. So, gotta choose the best answer u think. Next part, was the IQ test which I kinda like it cos it's diagramic IQ test. Like square, circle, triangle, den next is? haha something like dat. But it was rather challenging as well cos there's 40 ques in 20 mins. I didn't manage to think for the last 4 ques and shoot for the best answer. ahah. (actually it was the helper that pass by my table tht whispered to me to shoot for an answer -.-)
so, dats practically my whole 2 days of tiring yet happy moments at the educamp. I would say I gain lots of experience especially the interview cos it was conducted so differently from any other interview I've ever been to. Yes, my circle of friends got bigger again. met cool ppl and gonna keep in touch with them. So, I really Thank God so much for He provide me strength and guidance to go through this thing. And also I know I must do my best for there's so many ppl supporting me from behind *edit* even my grandparents. *edit*
Love my grandpa! He's so lovely to send me RM300 as a reward for my SPM results. dat was shocking and I dun expect it at all (cos I really think my results wasn't good enough) Thanx grandpa. He even wrote a letter from Johor and its on its way to Klang. aha. He did not tell but my grandma called and told. Cos she cant keep it to herself I think. She said grandpa wrote a long long letter. lol can't wait to see.
This is the longest post I ever write. lol Hopefully you readers gain something from it. Maybe, somebody dat might go for this educamp next time?
well, I shall stop my rantings by now. ^^
