Memories papered down.

I was skimming through the books on my shelves today to see what novels I had own cos it was yesterday when I was in the Popular Bookstore in Sunway, I realised I've forgotten which book I have already own. To own a book and to have read a book is different cos some of it I'd borrowed from my friends. So I wasn't sure if I actually bought those books. In the midst of taking out and putting back the books something fell. A stack of old letters and envelopes. pretty old and yellowish already.

It was all the letters written by my bestie and me during secondary schools and some greeting cards from my schoolmates. Yea, pretty classic. We still write letters to each other even though we meet almost everyday in tuitions (we're from different schools) lol. It wasn't even sent by post; we handed it to each other during tuitions, more of like exchanging letters. When I took out one of the letter and read it, I almost laugh my lungs out; the stuff we've written and the way we wrote it are just funny. Pure naive and innocent.

Maybe we've grown up. We see more things than before. We think more maturely and those I-dont-want-to-friend-you kind of thing is history already. The BGR thing is like so common last time especially in tuitions maybe cos we're from girls school. And we get jealous about petty things like "why tht 'boy' treated her like tht wan?". And things like stress about studies are almost in all of our letters. lol Then, I realised the content of the letter starts to get lesser and lesser as the days to SPM is getting nearer. We've lost the mood to share about stuff or maybe we don't know what to share anymore but then good thing we still talk for long hours on the phone that time.

Another thing I realised was our handwriting. It started out neatly and nice and as time goes, our handwriting turned into scribbles yet we still managed to understand each other's handwriting. aha And all those funny pictures that we drew are like those kindergarden ones. I still laugh at those stupid jokes we wrote. lol I still have that little pink paper-clip you used to clip on the envelope ya know. aha I'm not sure if you ever realised one of it has lost. lol

Sadly, after form 5 we've all parted our ways. All of us doing different things. I once thought we might actually u know maybe ended up one or two in the same course or something but then, it never happened. It was good that we still get together every now and then during our breaks to regenerate that bond that gets dimmer throughout the months when we're busy with our studies. Everyone's moving on. And it's exciting to hear from you about the stuff that happens to every1's life for the past few months everytime I get back to Klang. ahah

Now that the letters are history and are almost worn out. I guess it's time to say goodbye to it and let the past be it. =) Yeap, there goes.. into the bin; nicely wrap in a plastic. If it wasnt because of the haze I might have burn it. lol jk I wouldnt even encourage open burning.

Hey, that's actually a pretty good post. But I didn't think you'd throw away the letters.

Timmy: I did cos I've been keeping it long enough. Everytime it drops out somewhere I look at it laugh about it and put it back. And so, this time it's time to 'put it away' (let's just put it tht way) ahah

Christon: tht is so not 'chim' at all. lol It's the simple english generated in my tinny whinny brain. ahah
