You might want to ignore the title of this post. haha. I'm just quoting it from my motivating calendar =b It can mean a lot.
Second week of semester is coming to an end. yes, it's only the 2nd week and there's already a lot of stuff lining up for me to do. Seriously, I try to limit myself as much as possible not to get involve in too many events this sem. So, finally I only joined Children Provision and Red Sonata Fiesta. To be exact, there's small events like Teens In Campus but it didnt really took much of my time. Apart from that, I'm quite occupied with orchestra practices because we're having a performance in Kampung Bali which is tmr actually. I have ntg to complain to be frank cos I'm really enjoying what I'm doing. I enjoyed going for practices, staying as long as possible at the OCM room just so that I don't have to face what I need to do when I get back to my room. Some said orchestra are taking too much of their time and they quitted it becos of tht but I really don't want to do that bcos I really am planning to learn up cello properly =D Maybe I'll get one cello at least before I graduated la. ahah
Like I said, I'm involved with the Child Pro event and yes I too enjoyed going for community service. Last Saturday was our first visit to Praise Girls' Home in Ipoh. Though we kinda got lost trying to get to that place and being tired rounding the same garden over and over again, still we reached and we had fun together with all those children. Seriously, children can make you very very tiring after a long day. Got to know few bigger kids as in elder ones around 17-19 years and found out that they attend Church of Praise in Gunung Rapat. That's kinda cool. Maybe I should join one of their camps one day. kinda miss Ps Clement's preaching.
This time round, our visit will be in Simpang Pulai. So much that I want to go for this visit, in fact I want to go for each and every community service if possible, but since it's on Sunday, I don't think I can make it la. Also realised it's not an easy job doing transport arrangement and taking care of every part of the community services just so that it runs smoothly. It makes u go headachey and all. Now I understand what was it like to arrange transport like how Javier and Yen Pinng always do for our church transport. pening kepala. ahah
Next thing was about classes. I have 19 credit hours this sem. Pretty much actually. And one of the things that worries me much is that most of the sub is business sub like Finance, Marketing, Accounting and Business Stats. Ahh, dun ask me why I took business course and am I in the right course or etc.. Again, as you know, I suck quite badly in business, maybe not accounting la cos I'm glad I had Mr Sugu as my accounts teacher last time. He builds a really good accounts foundation for me. So now all I need to do is translate what I learned last time into English. But I'm glad it's BIS at least there's still some IT sub for me to enjoy a bit. haha. I really like going for programming classes and never plan to skip any of it if can. This sem the programming sub is OOP (Object-oriented Programming) and heard that it's not an easy sub and it's about using Java. So far, still okay. Hopefully it'll be alright when harder and deeper stuff comes along.
Anyway, just hope that I won't stray away too much from what I plan to do this year; to focus on God's word even in the midst of hecticness.
I guess I rant a little too much. So, that's about it for the start of my sem. =)
CNY is coming. So, looking forward to go back hometown!!!
and yes, I got exempted for a week XD
